Our Values

We exist to ignite a thirst for Jesus Christ in everyone we come across. Thirst4Christ is a congregation rooted in the love of God and dedicated to transformation through revival. Check out our 4 pillars below.

The Word

As Disciples of Christ, we study the Word, the truth, which guides and enables us to fulfill our mission of reaching the lost and impacting communities. Our goal is to Read the Word, Speak the Word, and Live the Word!

Worship

We create an atmosphere of reverence and adoration unto God which allows those in attendance to have clarity on God’s direction for their lives; how to execute God’s purpose for their lives by living a worship lifestyle.

Prayer

We are teaching by example of the power of God by going directly to Him who gives us direct access to communicate with Him.

Outreach

Purposeful, high-impact community events that serve to evangelize and meet the unique needs of the community through love.

Our Beliefs

We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.

  • The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and contains one harmonious and sufficiently complete system of doctrine. We believe in the full inspiration of the Word of God. We hold the Word of God to be the only authority in all matters and assert that no doctrine can be true or essential if it does not find a place in this Word.

    Scripture References:

    Genesis 1:1;1:26-27 | Psalm 90:2 | Matt 28:19

  • God

There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three manifestations: Father, Son and Holy Spirit

  • Jesus

Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, the complete and final sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and Advocate.

  • The Holy Ghost

The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and during this age, to convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service. Man – Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.

  • Salvation

The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God. The Return of Jesus Christ – The personal, pre-millennial, and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ is our hope and has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.

  • The Second Coming Of Christ

We believe in the second coming of Christ; that He shall come from heaven to earth, personally, bodily, visibly (Acts 1:11; Titus 2:11-13; St. Matthew 16:27; 24:30; 25:30; Luke 21:27; John 1:14, 17; Titus 2:11) and that the Church, the bride, will be caught up to meet Him in the air (I Thessalonians, 4:16-17). We admonish all who have this hope to purify themselves as He is pure.
